North Course Group was founded by Mike Farrell with the support of accomplished CEOs, investors, and professors who bring decades of experience leading and investing in small businesses.
Mike Farrell | Founder
Mike launched North Course Group to acquire one business and put his passion for small business to work. Raised in Tampa, Mike grew up watching his father launch and grow an environmental engineering business over two decades, and his mother run an art school for K-12 students.
Prior to founding North Course, Mike worked in secondaries private equity at Carlyle and M&A investment banking at Wells Fargo. During his MBA, Mike worked as the Chief of Staff at IntellaTriage, a remote nurse triage business serving home health & hospice patients.
Mike received his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he focused on small business management and operations. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor's and Master’s in Finance from the University of Florida. Mike lives with his husband, Mark, and their beagle mix Winnie.
